What is actually hosted
TikSwoop streams a file from TikTok when a visitor asks for it. It does not keep a permanent copy and does not publish a permanent media URL. The pages that can be indexed are the editorial pages on this site and, when the creator index is enabled, public creator pages built from public metadata.
A takedown request therefore usually concerns an indexed creator page or a cached preview, not a video file. We will remove an indexed page from our own site and from the sitemap. We cannot remove anything from TikTok; that requires TikTok's own reporting process.
How to request a removal
Write to <bdi>[email protected]</bdi> with the URL on this site, the handle or post it concerns, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. If the request is about a creator page, say whether you want the page de-indexed or corrected. We aim to review complete requests promptly and will reply with the outcome.
For a copyright complaint under the DMCA, include the identification of the work, the infringing URL, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act, and your physical or electronic signature.
